We never know what to do on New Year's. Our kids are on the edge of making it till midnight...(not Brooks) but it is hard to go out and we just want them to have fun. We decided to just stay in at our own house. Then we invited the Lloyd's and the Weight's over. Everyone just brought junk food to snack on and the kids ran and ran. We played Disney Head Bands and the kids had so much fun. The adults even played a round and it was so fun. Trent suprised us and got some fireworks that the kids LOVED....even the adults did cuz they were so cool.
We did the countdown with the kids at the New York midnight (10pm) They saw the ball drop and counted down and cheered...it was great. Everyone went home then and we put the Bear down for bed. Dallin and Cade were bound and determined to stay up till midnight so we broke out the bubbly...and played spoons.
After the game we turned on a movie...(about whales stuck in the ice in Alaska???) We snuggled up and Cade was out by 11:15 and Dallin was out by 11:35. All in all a great night!!
