Toothless Joe

 A few years ago Cade chipped his front tooth.  It was fine and never really changed colors.  Well at our last cleaning the dentist found a gum boil which indicated that the tooth was infected and the infection would probably rot his permanent tooth.  He could either do a root canal that may or may not work or pull the tooth and just be toothless for a few years.  We opted to pull!!  I can not tell you how crazy brave this 4 year old boy is!!  He got the gas as you can see, but then had to have shots in the most painful spots...right in the front gums!  This boy didn't even blink or budge a bit! (maybe because he was also watching a show??) But he was amazing!  They then took out the huge pliers and just yanked out the tooth....once again he didn't even cry, or move, or bat an eye!  The dentist said he had never had a 4 year old act like that.  That's our brave Tater Tot

Look how big that tooth and root were!  He looks so cute with out his tooth but it made him look older which makes me sad :(  But the tooth fairy came for the first time to Cade and he was so happy!
